Watch What Comes Out of Your Mouth

Omraam said in "Looking into the Invisible," "Only purity makes it possible to develop intuition. This is why our Teaching puts so much emphasis on purity, on the importance of living a life of purity, of eating pure food, breathing pure air, and having pure thoughts and feelings."

Jesus said in Mathhew 15:11, "It’s not what goes into your mouth that defiles you; you are defiled by the words that come out of your mouth.” For someone can eat the most wholesome food, drink only pure water and no sugary or alcoholic beverages, yet if they fill their mind and heart with fearful thoughts and hateful feelings, which tend to be expressed verbally, they will be polluting themselves.

This is the connection between mind, body, and spirit. It is not enough to eat well and exercise. we must also take care of what thoughts and words we entertain and what spiritual exercises we engage in. Even an occasional outburst of anger or a momentary flash of lust can soil our soul just as an occasional lapse in diet or break in exercise regimen can affect the health of the body. So, stand guard and be watchful of what enters your mind and heart and what comes out of your mouth. Let it not be the vomit of obscenities but words of gratitude, love, and forgiveness.

When we are pure and healthy in mind, body, and heart, we can begin to see with a pure vision "of heaven and its inhabitants," as Omraam said, who are, "drenched in light; delicious perfumes emanate from them; their whole being sings and diffuses an inutterably lovely symphony. The secret of how to obtain the vision of this sublime reality is to work tirelessly at our own purification, to free ourselves from everything that can darken or degrade us, to allow ourselves only pure thoughts, pure feelings, and pure actions until, one day, we have a clear vision of what life in heaven is and what it should be on earth.

So, as the divine alchemist says, "As above, so below." May the alchemical formula of love and purity transform your leaden thoughts and feelings into the gold of the mind of Christ. May your eye be whole so that your body, mind, and spirit be whole and you can see heaven on earth. So be it!
