Life Is a Jigsaw Puzzle

In organizing these flows for the future composition of the book, The Elixir of Life: How to Become One with God, I realized that each flow is like a piece of a verbal jigsaw puzzle. Most flows, including this one, have references to other flows that support a concept in that flow. These are like arms of a puzzle piece that fit together with sockets in other puzzle pieces. Organizing the book will be like putting together a jigsaw puzzle in which similar pieces on a theme go together to form part of the picture. Thus, this flow will become part of the chapter entitled “Life is a Game.”

Similarly, every event in your life, no matter how seemingly insignificant, is a piece to the puzzle of your life. Only when you step back and gaze upon the big picture and see the patterns will you be able to see how they’re all connected. If you just focus on one piece, you won't be able to see how it fits into the grand scheme of your life. Your life is a novel, a play, a movie, a game, and, yes, a puzzle. All of these are forms of entertainment, for entertainment or fun is one of the purposes of life (see Live Your Life with E’s). So, the piece called Life Is a Jigsaw Puzzle is now connected to the piece called Live Your Life with E’s.

As I meditate on my life, I can clearly see that the Trauma of Parents’ Divorce piece connects with Waiting for the Right Marriage Partner piece. The first piece of the puzzle called Elixir of Life began in the fourth grade (see Why I Created This Blog) with my essay on the Holy Spirit. Other pieces were the creative writing course I took in college, the two periods of journal writing in 1991 and 2003, The Mandala of Light Newsletter and Ecstatic Living book and course in 1999-2000, the series of flows from Omraam in 2007, and other inspired writing since 2007, including several books and a series of about 40 flows in the past two years. Thus, the Elixir of Life is a key part of the puzzle of my life, and you will find in many of the flows, beginning with the first one, key events from my life.

So, our lives are puzzles within a puzzle, all connecting to form one grand picture. Have fun putting yours together.
