Consecrate Yourself to the Divine Mother

Omraam said in "The Book of Divine Magic," 'The word 'bless' [benediction] means to 'say good' in the sense of saying words that effect good, that confer well-being. A true blessing, therefore, is an act of white magic... Get into the habit of blessing, of saying good... You must bless everything...you touch: objects, food and living creatures. You must speak gentle words of love not only to human beings but also to the flowers and the birds, to trees and animals, for this is truly a divine habit. He who has the art of saying words that inspire and vivify, possesses a magic wand in his mouth and his words are never uttered in vain."

I would add that he who writes inspiring and vivifying words posseses a magic wand in his hand. Years ago, when I learned that my TM mantra, AIMA, was the bija (seed) mantra of Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom and writing, I bought a wooden pen carved in the shape of Saraswati and consecrated it to her so that I would use it only to write words of wisdom to uplift those who would read them. I lost the pen, but I still consecrate myself every morning before I give these flows to the Divine Mother to use me as her pen to write these words.

I this way, dear reader, Saraswati blesses you through me. May you find some good in these words to help you in your journey on your path. So take the words that I write today to heart and put them into practice. Consecrate your life to the Divine Mother. Ask her to possess your body and mind and use you to bless others with words (thought, spoken, or written). Thinking well of others must come first. But speaking and writing must follow if your blessings will have any effect.

Your words may fall on deaf ears and blind eyes, but don't be concerned. Continue to bless, and the Divine Mother will work her Divine Magic and bring about miracles in the lives of those who read or hear your words. You will not see these miracles, for they will occur years and miles away from the here and now. But rest assured, your words will be like the seeds planted by Johnny Appleseed and eventually bless others with a harvest of nourishing fruit for generations to come. That's why the symbol for goodness in Peter Deunov's sacred pentagram is an apple tree.
