Become a Divine Magician

In "The Book of Divine Magic," Omraam said, "There is more than one kind of magic. True magic, divine magic, consists of putting everything, absolutely everything, at the service of the kingdom of God. The opposite of this... anything that involves putting the higher powers and properties of the human spirit at the service of our lower natures, is sorcery, black magic... The theurgists prectice the divine art of white magic; their work is always totally disinterested, their only desire is to transform the earth so that God may come and dwell amongst men."

This is the high ideal: reestablishing the Garden of Eden. Yesterday, I wrote about cultivating your own garden and planting seeds in the minds and hearts of youth. The ultimate goal is the Garden of Eden where once again, we will walk and talk with God.

A theurgist, a white magician, is simply one who has died to the human self, the ego, and has taken on the mantle of the Christ, the Higher Self. Such a one can perform miracles, otherwise known as divine magic. They do not perform or act, per se, but God acts through them. They are in the flow of God's will.

You can experience being a divine magician. All it takes is surrendering your will and doing something totally selfless for someone else. When you achieve this state, you will find that synchronicities guide you to the right people, place, and time where and when beneficial events occur. They may benefit you or not, but you're not concerned about that. More importantly, they benefit others because they are according to God's will, God's plan for all, which is for the good of all.

So, aspire to become a divine magician, a white magician like Gandalf the White. You will have to face and slay the Balrog, the Guardian of the Threshold, for only the pure of heart, who have been through the refiner's fire, can be a divine magician. It's not easy, but focusing on the goal, the Garden of Eden, will get you through.
