Be Receptive to the Master's Darshan

Sometimes, when I’m editing a manuscript written by someone who wasn’t well educated or who uses English as a second language, I come across an ambiguous sentence or one that doesn’t make any sense. I then wish I could read the author’s mind, but I can’t, so I just leave a comment. Other times, when speaking to others, I misunderstand them due to not hearing them clearly or misinterpreting what they mean. Again, I wish I could read their mind to bypass my faulty ears and mental processes.

At one time in the past, we could read minds, we could communicate telepathically. The Bible story of the Tower of Babel records the time when everyone communicated with the same language of the mind. They didn’t have one spoken and written language because the Bible says before the Tower of Babel story in Gen 10:15 that the descendants of Japheth, Gomer, and Javan dispersed “with their own tongues.” So, people spoke in different languages when building the tower, but they could also communicate telepathically, which is why, when they lost that ability, work on the tower stopped, as they no longer understood each other.

But the Bible tells us that we can regain this ability to communicate telepathically. When the Holy Spirit descended on the apostles on Pentecost, they were able to preach the gospel to thousands of foreigners who spoke in different languages and converted them. In Acts 2, “every man heard them speak in his own language.” They were actually hearing them in their minds. Speaking in tongues or telepathy is a gift of the Holy Spirit.

Someone who is one with the Holy Spirit, an enlightened master or saint, can communicate without words. In India, it happens during a darshan in which a guru and their disciples sit in silence and the guru communicates to them words, images, and feelings. Some gurus can do this remotely through a photo of themselves that they give to their disciples. But a disciple must first establish a heart tie with their guru and be in an open-minded receptive state while gazing on the photo.

Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov when he gave a lecture tour of the United States in the 1980s, spent an entire lecture sitting in silence, gazing out at the audience. Those who came to hear words of wisdom were disappointed, but a few who tuned in to the master received a tremendous teaching. In 2007, I took a course through The Hearts Center, one assignment of which was to gaze upon a photo of Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov and receive a flow from him. I did this for a month and continued after the course, receiving dozens of flows from him. As an ascended master, he still has the gift of the Holy Spirit and can give darshans remotely through his image or focus. Every ascended master, angel, and cosmic being has this ability and anyone can receive flows from them. We just need to gaze on their focus lovingly with a receptive mind and heart. Here is a relevant flow I received from Omraam on February 15, 2007:

“You think you’re special and don’t have to follow the rules. That’s why you didn’t pick a time each day to deliberately sit down and meditate with my focus, as did the other 59 course participants. You rationalized that my picture was always in your heart and you were constantly in attunement with me. Horse manure! Part of the purpose of this assignment was to see if the student had enough self-discipline to establish a time and place for daily contact with my heart. I was forced to resort to rousing you from your slumber, which took considerable effort on my part. Fortunately, you were self-disciplined enough to get out of bed and write down my messages. Now show me that you’re self-disciplined enough to rouse yourself at 4:00 am each morning to meditate for 15 minutes using the image from The Splendour of Tiphareth. That is a better focus, for it shows my eyes, which transmit my spirit. I trust I will see you at 4:00 am tomorrow morning.”

The following day, part of the flow was, “The fruit of this meditation will be the ability to tap into my consciousness at will when you need help in a crisis. Anyone can do this… Just read my books, gaze upon my image, and still the mind.”
