Be a Talisman of Love

In "The Book of Divine Magic," Omraam said, "Surely it is infinitely preferable to allow yourself to be animated and vivified by the sun, the symbol of Christ?... With white magic, everything is possible. Instead of being content to animate objects, animate yourselves... Purify, animate and vivify every level of your being. In this way you will become magnificent talismans, capable of repulsing all negative entities and influencing and protecting all those around you."

A little over two years ago, I was led through dreams, emails, chance meetings, synchronicies, and signs to certain gemstones and a gold cross that healed me of disease. It is possible for objects and places to be charged with healing energy to bring about miraculous healing. It's also possible for someone to charge themselves with this energy or act as a conductor and heal others with a touch or just a glance. These objects and healers are talismans, and, as cocreative sons and daughters of God, we can transform objects and ourselves into talismans of healing, wisdom, love, etc.

When someone gives a flower to their beloved, as on Valentine's Day, that flower is imbued with their love. It become a talisman that acts like a love potion as the beloved breathes in its fragrance and takes in it beauty. Then, when that someone proposes and gives a ring to their beloved, that ring and the subsequent wedding rings become talismans of their union and unbroken bond. But the power of talismans, as Omraam said elsewhere, must be sustained by words and acts of love. Otherwise, they will become ineffective trinkets.

So, if the hand that wears the ring and the heart and mind that move the hand are not charged with love, the marriage that the ring symbolizes becomes a shadow of its former glory. The heart, head, and hand must be charged every day and used to work divine magic through thoughts, words, and acts of love. Only in this way can a marriage last a lifetime and beyond, for true love is eternal.
