Balance Your Battery and Create

Each human being is a rechargeable battery with a fiery potential and three poles: a positive one with the upper chakras (throat, third eye, and crown), a negative pole with the lower chakra (solar plexus, sex, and base), and a neutral pole in the center – the heart.

We recharge our battery every night with God's energy and inspiration while we sleep and when we meditate (early morning is the best time for this). Then we engage in thinking, emotions, and activity and discharge this energy in getting things done. As you write this, you are discharging the energy from God that was built up during the night and during your morning clearing meditation. Along with that energy came certain thoughtforms and words such as the image of a battery. Creative activities that produce useful things are a result of a balanced battery, balanced chakras.

Imbalances occur when we focus too much on the upper or lower chakras. Then we tend to overuse, misuse, or not use the chakras. For example, when there is an imbalance in the lower solar plexus chakra, a person can overeat, be bulimic, or be anorexic. An imbalance in the sex chakra can result in sex addiction, perversions, or frigidity.

The heart is the key to correcting imbalances. When there is an imbalance in the lower chakras, the heart will move up to activate the upper chakras and cause a conversion. That's why some of the greatest saints were formerly great sinners. Similarly, the heart will move down to the lower chakras if someone has focused too much in the upper chakras. For example, you were in spiritual communities for decades, celibate, focusing on the mind and spirit, and ignoring your body and its needs, especially the need to procreate. Your heart corrected this imbalance by moving you down through your infatuation with Lorraine, who was a catalyst in your preparation for marriage. Nine months later, you were married with a balanced battery, and, together, you and Julie, who had become balanced the other way, created your amazing daughters.

A balanced battery also lasts longer. Scientists have found that unmarried people have shorter life spans. Those who are addicted to the things of the lower chakras also have short lives. So, balance your battery by following your heart, the center pole of creativity, and live a long, creative life.
